The Cartier Queen’s Cup has reached its semi-final stage at Guards, and the weekend also brought a thrilling finish at Hurlingham Park in London.

The league phase ends

Balanz Capital finished the group stage unbeaten with a 12-9 win over Sujan Indian Tigers. UAE Polo Team beat Ojo Caliente 12-9 in a rescheduled match, and Ferne Park and Kazak went through a four-way penalty shootout to join the quarter-finals. Akasha knocked out the defending champions Park Place 14-13 after extra time, with Pablo MacDonough scoring 13 of Akasha’s goals.

  • La Dolfina/Marques de Riscal beat Kazak 14-11
  • Aureus beat Gaston 9-8 in overtime
  • Balanz Capital beat Ferne Park 13-8
